Where the Movement Led Me

Life has changed a lot since I first created this space.
Back then, Adri In Motion was an idea—a reflection of the many creative sides of who I was. But over the past year, that idea became something much more real. Life shifted in ways I never expected. I lost my job, my routine changed, and I had to reevaluate what direction I wanted to move in.
What I didn’t realize at the time was that those changes would open the door to something incredible.
Somewhere along the way, I truly found my love for bachata.
Dance had always been a part of my life, but bachata became something deeper. It’s connection, expression, and storytelling all happening in real time. It pushed me to grow—not just technically, but personally. The dance floor became a place where I could challenge myself, meet new people, and feel completely present in the moment.
Through dance, I’ve built friendships and connections that I’m deeply grateful for. I’ve started traveling for events and festivals, experiencing new communities and cultures through movement. Each place, each social, each conversation adds another piece to the journey.
At the same time, I’ve also found meaning in serving my community. I currently volunteer with the Sanford Police Department, where I’ve been able to contribute my time and support local initiatives. Being involved in that environment has reminded me how important it is to stay connected to the people and places around you.
When I look back at everything that has happened recently, I realize something important.
Adri In Motion isn’t just about creativity anymore.
It’s about growth. It’s about resilience. It’s about continuing forward even when life changes direction.
This space is a record of that movement—dance, community, travel, creativity, and the people who become part of the journey along the way.
The truth is, I’m still discovering where this path leads. But one thing I know for certain is that I’m not standing still.
And that’s exactly the point.
